100 Mile Potluck

A celebration of local food and the people who grow and cook it.

  • The purpose of the 100-mile potluck is to:
  • Promote the use of local food
  • Support Berea’s local farmers and producers
  • Build community
  • Encourage home gardens and edible landscapes
  • Gather recipes and a list of local food sources
  • Publish the Berea Local Food Recipe Book

The 3rd Annual 100-mile Potluck, July 26, 2009, drew 240 people for great local food, good conversation, and a live auction featuring re-skilling workshops (such as bread making and gardening)

The Berea Local Food Recipe Book with recipes from all three 100-mile potlucks will be available in October at many local stores or through Sustainable Berea.
